  We had a fishing party for my six year old son here last week. The location is just off the A69 and easy to find. There is plenty of parking, although don't park near to the big lake as you'll get your car hit by an angler casting off. The staff were very helpful and patient, all equipment was provided and they made sure my Son caught a fish. The kids had a good time, although there was a lot of standing around and I wouldn't recommend it for smaller children. The adults enjoyed it too and it was reasonably priced. Overall it was good. Only criticisms I could make were that the food could have been better, the pizzas being a bit soggy and the chicken drumsticks didn't look appetizing. I would recommend bringing your own party picnic boxes. Also the path round the pond is lined with gravel on top, which is missing in places which meant it was a bit slippery. I lost my footing and fell over, as did at least one other adult.
